Music Generation Clare is a performance music education service for children and young people
in County Clare.  The National School Programme aims to compliment the national school music curriculum through active music making in the classroom.  Staring on Tuesday 17th September and continuing for 25 weeks on each Tuesday Dermot from Music General will deliver the programme.  The whole school, parents and teachers will experience the confidence that music brings out of the children and will give a great love of music

​On Monday 23rd September Bricí Spraoi the imaginary playground visited out school for one week.  The imagination playground involved building with a varied selection of blocks, noodles and balls.  The pupils were divided into groups to have fun, play, design and be creative.  During the play sessions pupils were encouraged to talk about their idea as a group and to build together.  Some of the many benefits that pupils took away were:

4. Development of imaginative skills.
5. Teamwork Oral language  
6. Good behavioural social skills  
7. Developing their imagination.
