First & second classes had great fun this week learning about Maths through a variety of games. They played draughts, snakes & ladders, cards and Ipad games. They also practised counting on their hundred squares.

We did  a lot of activities for Science Week. We explored forces using stomp rockets and magnets. We investigated liquids by making lava lamps with oil & water. We did a magic milk experiment and we tested "lunar modules" to see if we could land our two astronauts safely on the moon.

What an effort everyone made to dress up for school today! Well done everyone, you all looked amazing!

We have been learning about the Life Cycle of a Frog in Science this week. We know about the different stages of development from frogspawn up to an adult frog. We drew our own frogs - you might not see these ones in Ireland though!
