The Infant classroom has been a busy place during April so far!
They have had a teddy bear's picnic, buddy games with Mr. Gantley's class, Book Buddies and lots of fun learning about the vet and patterns in Maths. Junior and Senior Infants travelled to Ennis today. They enjoyed a story in the library, explored an exhibition in Glór, visited the Garda Station and finally they had a picnic and playtime in the playground. The children had a wonderful day!
This month, Junior and Senior Infants have been doing lots of work in stations. They were doing role play, art, planting seeds and working on the Ipads. They have been very busy!
We have been learning about the lifecycle of the butterfly. We read the story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and we learned about how the caterpillar changes in to a butterfly.
Junior & Senior Infants have been learning all about France this month. Have a look at their beautiful pictures of the Eiffel Tower with sparkling lights! Visit of the ‘Liam McCarthy Cup’We were all delighted to welcome the ‘Liam McCarthy Cup’ to our school on Monday 3rd March 2025. ‘Míle buíochas’ do Peter Casey, Games Development Co-Ordinator (GDC), Clare GAA for bringing this very special trophy to our school. We were reminded of the wonderful achievements of the Clare hurlers in winning the All-Ireland Hurling Championship last August. We wish them all the best for this year’s Championship! Juniors & Seniors have been learning lots of interesting facts about owls. Here is some of our lovely artwork!
