Friendship Week 2026
In January and February 2026, the Student Council worked closely with staff to help plan Friendship Week, which took place from 16th–18th February.
Representatives gathered ideas from their classes and brought these suggestions to Student Council meetings. Some of the ideas included:

• Buddy Games on the astro pitch
• Friendship-themed arts and crafts
• Random Acts of Kindness activities
• Friendship songs and poems
• Playground activities
• Additional break time

Friendship Week was coordinated by Mr Gantley and Ms Darcy in consultation with class teachers.
One of the highlights of the week was the creation of a beautiful Friendship Flower Garden display. The display reminded us that every member of our school community is valued and important.
Throughout Friendship Week, pupils explored the importance of friendship, kindness, inclusion and supporting one another. We learned that small acts of kindness can make a big difference and that everyone has a role to play in creating a welcoming school environment.
