We held our end of year assembly today and it was a very special occasion as we were saying goodbye to Mr. Millane and Frances. The pupils shared memories, recited poems, sang songs and presented special cards and gifts to Frances and Mr. Millane. We wish them both well in their next adventures! Congratulations to all the 2nd class children who recieved their First Holy Communion  Congratulations to our pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation today. Thank you to Fr. Des for celebrating this special occasion with us.  Our Parents' Association organised a Crazy Hair Day fundraiser and we were amazed to see the wonderful effort and creativity on display. Thank you to everyone who supported this event.  We started off 2026 with a productive meeting with our Active School Committee. The committee is planning lots of active challenges for the next two terms of school!
What a fun filled final week of term we have had at school! Some of the highlights included: Santa Dash Christmas Card Exchange Nativity Performance by the Local Community Movie & Hot Chocolate Day Lots of Christmas Art! Happy Christmas from us all in Crusheen NS! As part of our school's well-being plan, we have a Buddy Day once a term. Mr. Millane's class helped Ms. Darcy's class to make aliens in spaceships. Mr. Gantley's class and Ms. Considine's class made beautiful snowglobes. Ms. Quinn's class hosted a Science Fair and showed some of their experiments to Ms. Hassett's class. We hope that everyone enjoyed meeting & working with children from other classes! |
