We had lots of fun during our Active Schools Week and Sports Day.
Pupils in 2nd class travelled to Shannon Leisure Centre for their school tour.
We did lots of activities including climbing, obstacle course, dodgeball, soccer, arts & crafts and swimming. We had lots of fun and enjoyed our School tour. On Saturday 25th May pupils received their First Holy Communion. Thank you to our teachers and families for preparing us for the day. We had a lovely ceremony and enjoyed our day afterwards.
On Tuesday 7th May 3rd class went on a seashore safari trip to Quilty Beach with Carmel Madigan, Loophead Summer Hedge School. We were explorers for a day, Thank you Carmel for a lovely adventure exploring the riches of Quilty Beach. We look forward to your return visit to our school to show you our reports.
Thank you to Mark Wilson, Heritage in School expert who visited our school for two days in March. We enjoyed his fun and encouraging teaching. Pupils from Junior Infants to 6th class were busy creating and designing a piece with wood shapes, nails and hammers. We had so much fun creating our designs.
Thank you to Eddie Lenihan who travelled to Tobar Breeda with staff and pupils from 2nd to 6th classes. We enjoyed learning about the history of the well.

Scholastic bookfair visited our school for book week 27th to 31st March. Thank you to Ms. Wylde and Vivienne for organising it and we really enjoyed buying and reading our favourite books.
