We were delighted to see that there were five fully formed butterflies in our classroom garden house this morning! We observed their colours and discussed how they each display symmetry. It was then time to name them individually and to release them into their natural habitat. There were great shrills of joy from our class when one by one each butterfly took flight into the Crusheen air! We enjoyed watching the life cycle of the butterfly over the past few weeks at school.
