Wishing everyone a happy and safe Halloween.
Our class learnt lots of Halloween songs and rhymes. We also dressed up in our scary costumes. We had a Halloween party with lots of treats and we made spooky Halloween masks.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM JUNIOR AND SENIOR INFANTS!
We have been working so hard learning our sounds and reading lots of books since September. We were rewarded for our great efforts with some yummy pizza on Thursday! Thanks so much to our Mums and Dads who brought the delicious pizza to our classroom. Bhí sé go hálainn!
The boys and girls had a very busy and interesting Maths week. We learnt lots of new Maths language. We played Maths games with the older pupils. We also played some games at home. The Senior Infants went on a Maths trail. We loved playing with Maths jigsaws and ICT games. Finally, we made lots of Shape Maths monsters! Have a look at some more of our Maths Week activities!
Here is a clip from a website that helps us to learn the sight words
Seamie is our classroom buddy.
He is very friendly and he loves helping us with our work! The Junior and Senior Infants went on a very exciting bus journey to Limerick city! We all got on the big bus and the bus-driver brought us to a theatre. We got to sit on red theatre seats.
We loved watching 'The Trumplets'. We had lots of fun interacting with the puppets and listening to their musical instruments. We really enjoyed singing the songs and playing 'Simon Says'! It was a fun day! Our class has registered online for Maths Week Ireland 2015 which runs from October 10th- 18th. Next week as part of Maths Week Ireland 2015, we hope to participate in lots of Maths fun which will include learning new Maths language, playing Maths games and taking part in an exciting Maths trail!
