The Easter Bunny was very generous and left lots of chocolate eggs for us to find around the school grounds. The bunny gave us a fun challenge this year....we had to find all the letters of our names from the chocolate eggs! We helped each other out to find all the letters! We really enjoyed this activity and eating the yummy eggs!

We have been busy over the past while drafting and re-drafting our texts for the Clare Education Centre Write a Book competition. We finally completed our books with lovely illustrations this week. We sent them to the Education Centre to be viewed. We are really proud of our achievements! Good luck to all who entered!
We learnt some Irish songs and poems and we performed them for the rest of the school! Here we are doing our actions to one of our Irish songs.
We welcomed Dawn from the Dogs Trust Charity. She spoke to us about dogs and how to care for them. She also gave us information on how to keep safe around dogs. We enjoyed her visit and she left us wristbands, stickers and certificates!
We celebrated World Book Day 2015 by choosing our favourite books from home and from our class library. We had lots of fun exhibiting our experiments at the Clare Education Centre Science Fair in Ennis. Lots of people came to our tables to see our work. We also had an opportunity to view other experiments from different schools. John Conlan, Clare hurler, presented us with our school wall plaque and certificates. Well done to everyone to took part on the night!
