This week we learnt about the Chinese New Year and Chinese customs during their festival. This is the Year of the Rooster so we made a rooster mask and some Chinese lanterns.
We made bird meal in class today.
We recycled old fruit and vegetable mesh pieces and filled them with our bird meal. We also filled up our bird feeders with some bird peanuts. We hope the birds enjoy their tasty meal!  Day 1 of the Food Dudes programme.
We sampled apples and mangetout!  Birthday greetings to Evan, Lily and Leah who celebrate their birthdays in January.
Happy Birthday!  We are getting ready to feed the birds.
We hope to make some tasty bird meal for them to enjoy next week!  We are continuing to enjoy our Buddy Reading sessions.
We love listening to stories and recognising some of the printed letters and words!  We are learning all about Healthy Living in our Aistear sessions this month.
We are looking forward to taking part in the Food Dudes programme too.  Happy New Year!
