Junior and Senior Infants went on their school tour to Woody's Fun Club in The Woodlands Hotel in Adare. They had a great day with a mix of feeding the animals in the pet farm, making potions, playing outdoor games, bracelet making, outdoor playground and finally the day finished off with a disco. It was a fun filled day out and all the boys and girls really enjoyed it.

Our Junior Infants have been very busy over the past few weeks learning all about the amazing life cycle of a butterfly! We began with tiny caterpillars and eagerly cared for them each day, making sure they had plenty of food as we watched them grow. The children were fascinated as the caterpillars formed their chrysalises and patiently waited for the exciting moment when beautiful butterflies emerged. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience and the children loved observing each stage of the transformation. Our butterfly adventure ended with a special trip to the park, where we carefully released our butterflies into their natural habitat. It was a magical moment as we watched them spread their wings and fly away. The children learned so much about nature, life cycles and the importance of caring for living things.
