Thank you to everyone who supported our annual Family Walk for Active Week. We had a great evening in Ballinruan and it was wonderful to see so many families out enjoying the beautiful scenery in the sun!

The Active Committee organised active stations today for each class. Activities included basketball shots, basketball and soccer dribbling, hurdles, beanbag throwing, skipping and hula hoops.
To celebrate Active Week, our Active Committee asked each class to design posters or come up with slogans to promote exercise and activity in our school. Here is our Active Committee with some of their favourite designs.
Our pupils were delighted to try some rugby skills as part of Active Week and Sports Day. Thank you to Mr. Hogg for teaching us lots of fun games and activities!
We had a fabulous day for Sports Day today. The weather was perfect and we hope that everyone enjoyed all the many activities which were organised for each class.
Junior Infants and second class enjoyed a scavenger hunt around our school today. It was great to spend time together finding all the items!
Today our Active Committee made teams for our Rounders Tournament which will take place during the first two weeks of June. All children from 1st to 6th will participate and we are looking forward to some great fun!
It is great to see so many bikes in our shelter this week with the improvement in the weather. Well done to everyone for choosing an active way to travel to school each day!
Hurling & camogie training resumed last week for the senior classes. The pupils enjoyed lots of skill development before taking part in matches.
Today was our final session of gymnastics with Monika this year. The focus was on movement, hand eye coordination, communication and cooperation.
