Our Walk on Wednesdays helps enhance our wellbeing and develops and active lifestyle. We combined our walk with a short oral language session on the founding of the GAA in Crusheen in 1887!

Lots of 'Jamie Johnson' fans in 6th class! Well done to our 5th and 6th class skilful All-Stars who were presented with a Gort Community School personalised sliotar at their hurling and camogie tournament recently!
We have been working hard on our Gaelic football skills to date and we are looking forward to the upcoming championship. Thanks to our local GAA trainers who provide great support each week at our training sessions.
We enjoyed a local trial of the railway bridge, the old station house and the neighbouring goods house. We gained a good sense of place as we learnt about the history and geography attached to the rail network in Crusheen.
