Congratulations to all the 2nd class children who recieved their First Holy Communion

We enjoyed reading the story, "Let's See Ireland", which was displayed outside our school for World Book Day. We learned about many different places in Ireland including Christchurch Cathedral, The Giant's Causeway and The Cliffs of Moher.

For Maths Week, second class designed board games using lots of maths language. We gave the board games to 3rd & 4th class who really enjoyed playing them!

Second class joined with Ms. Quinn's class today for some activities in the park. They had great fun together making funny faces with PE equipment and creating art from leaves, flowers and twigs.

We were excited to perform our play "An Garbhán" in Glór this month as part of the Comórtas Féile Scoildrámaíochta. 

We were delighted to welcome Peter Casey to our school this week. He showed us the Liam McCarthy Cup and he answered our questions about hurling and the Clare team.
