First & Second Class enjoyed lots of activities for Active Week this year.
​They had their school tour to Bunratty on Tuesday, hurling with Mr. Gantley, yoga with Aisling and dance with Caroline! What a busy week!

We learned about our eyes in Science. We talked about the different parts of our eyes and what each part does. We did some experiments to learn about how our eyes work!

Look at our beautiful pictures! We created lovely, colourful pictures using lots of different materials. 

We were delighted to read to the Junior and Senior Infants for Book Buddies this week! 

Some pupils in 2nd class received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesday, March 13th. Thank you to Fr. Des and to Fr. Pat for a lovely ceremony.

 We celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as book characters. We also listened to some stories told to us by Hannah's grandad David, who came all the way from Cork to visit us. He has written a book of children's stories and we loved listening to his tales.
