The boys and girls had lots of fun looking at the work of American artist Laurel Burch. The children created their own cat pictures using a similar style to the artist.
The boys and girls studied and discussed the work of artist and environmentalist Andy Goldsworthy. They took inspiration from his amazing sculptures in which he uses all natural materials.
The children did a fantastic job of using natural materials in the school environment to make their sculptures.Well done everyone.
2nd and 3rd class did a fantastic job on creating their name art at the start of September. This task involved a lot of concentration and creativity. Well done boys and girls.
The boys and girls had lots of fun today during their outdoor science lesson. They explored the school grounds searching for different natural materials.
They discussed in pairs the different characteristics and properties of each object.
The children were set a task to describe and compare materials, noting differences in colour, shape and texture.
The boys and girls in 2nd and 3rd class had lots of fun learning about the Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky.They were inspired by one of his most recognizable artworks 'Circles'.
A big thank you to Des Mulkere and Charlie Harris who visited our children on Wednesday. It was brilliant to have such amazing musicians to play and chat to us.
The children really enjoyed playing and singing for our visitors.
Well done to 3rd and 4th classes who performed 'Christmas Stars' on Friday the 13th of December. Pupils performed really well and thanks to all who helped out and who were able to attend on the day. We hope you enjoyed it!
