Last night's nativity play was super. Mary and Joseph had a long journey to Bethlehem. The innkeepers were very busy and all of their rooms were booked up with ages. The angels dazzled, the kings brought gifts and the shepherds found baby Jesus lying in a manger. The whole cast performed wonderfully.
Senior infants and First class were busy investigating sound. They did an experiment to find out which material was the best sound muffler. They found that cotton wool muffled the sound the best.
We read the book 'Hurricane' by David Wiesner. We were practising visualiation and created wonderful images of the story in our heads. Later we sketched some of these images in our sketch pads.
Senior Infants and First Class were working on procedural writing. They made some tasty rice crispy buns and wrote about it.
