We said farewell to Marie and Tricia on the day of our holidays. We were very thankful to them for all the help they gave us at school. We wish both of them all the very best for the future.
We went on a short visit to the playschool to sing a song to the playschool children and to wish them Happy Easter.
Later we had lovely Rice Krispies in class made by one of the Junior Infants!
Bhí siad go hálainn ar fad!
On Proclamation Day we remembered the events of Easter 1916 with the rest of the school and the local community. To commemorate this historic event, Darragh from Junior Infants (the youngest pupil in our school), helped raise the Irish flag with Maranna.
We wish Darragh a very Happy Birthday as he celebrates his special day over the Easter holidays!
Lá Breithe Shona Duit!
On day 4 of Seachtain na Gaeilge, we were entertained by the boys and girls from Rang 5. They put on a Fashion Show as Gaeilge for the whole school. It was in Irish and we recognised many of the words for the 'éadaí'. We also enjoyed the 'sing-song'!
Thaitin an seó go mór linn!
We enjoyed listening to the many Irish tunes and songs performed at the Réaltóg Croisín on Wednesday. We also saw some Irish dancing, hurling skills and gymnastics. We had a good time!
We are the Junior and Senior Infant Stars from Crusheen N.S. Co. Clare. We hope you enjoy viewing many of our activities!
