We celebrated Grandparents Day in our school. Many of our Grandparents came to our classroom and they told us about their primary school days. We performed some poems and songs for them. We hope they enjoyed their visit to our classroom!
Conor is a past pupil of our school. He came to our classroom for a few days to help us with our work. He played some wonderful musical pieces on his electric guitar for us. We thought it was so cool! Thanks Conor!
We brought many of our treasured items from home to school for 'Show and Tell' day. We explained to our classmates why they hold special memories for us.
During our Aistear sessions we learnt about what happens when we go to the doctor. We got into role as patients, doctors, nurses and receptionists in the dress up area, wrote 'Get Well Cards' and constructed the surgery building in the Construction area. We had lots of fun and learnt about the important work the doctors and nurses have to do to help those who are sick.
Congratulations and well done to Maria who was the overall winner in the Supermacs Halloween Colouring competition! She received a brand new scooter for her efforts. Everyone in Junior Infants made a great effort and they received Supermacs ice-cream vouchers for themselves and the whole school!
