Wishing Áine, Aoibhe, Caoimhe, Chloe and Adam wonderful birthday celebrations over the summer months.
We all hope you enjoy your special days!
Our final day of the term and of the year was filled with wonderful delights brought in by many pupils from home! Later in the day, the ice-cream van made a stop-off to the school and everyone enjoyed a well-deserved cone!! Thanks to the Mums and Dads who were very supportive all year and well done to ALL Junior and Senior Infants for being a very happy and co-operative bunch!!
Juniors and Seniors had a great year, filled with fun and learning.
We made lots of new friends along the way.
We celebrated our year gone by with a wonderful party.
It was finished off with a delicious ice-cream treat!
The Juniors used chalk to form numbers from the numberline out on the court today.
They used lots of different coloured chalks! Maith sibh!
We went on a short walk to the halla to see the big boys and girls receive a special certificate.
They will be starting secondary school in a few months time.
Later, Patrick O' Connor, who is the current Clare hurling captain gave special medals to the older girls in our school.
They won shields and a cup this year in camogie finals.
Well done to all!
Our playground time treat for running lots of Active Schools courtyard laps had to be postponed due to the wet weather on Friday morning. Instead we were granted active 'Golden time' in our classroom. We were very creative and we had fun!
All the Juniors and Seniors enjoyed the annual 'Fun for All' day.
We ran lots of races and played many games.
We had a good day with our friends!
Thanks to the many families who turned up to see us and to all who helped out on the day. Thanks also to the Parents' Association who gave us lovely treats!
We are familiar with the names and habitats of lots of mini-beasts.
Working in pairs, we headed out to the playground today to search for some.
We remembered to carefully place the mini-beasts back in their natural habitat afterwards. It was a fun afternoon!
We were introduced to the skills of cricket today with the help of Yashir Cheema, Zara' s Dad.
Thanks to Yashir, Daniyel and Zara for showing us the various items used to play the game.
We were very good at catching the ball.
Many of us got to bat the ball with the large cricket bat!
We are the Junior and Senior Infant Stars from Crusheen N.S. Co. Clare. We hope you enjoy viewing many of our activities!
