Thanks to Josephine who told us the story about the 10 Good Things in our Godly Play session. We learnt about Moses and his journey up the mountain to talk to God. We listened to the 10 important things that God wants us to live by. We created some artwork based on the story. Finally we thanked God for our nice feast and we revised many of our prayers.

We are furthering our coding and computational thinking work by programming simple algorithms with our class Bee-Bot. Here we are programming the Bee-Bot to use lots of sequences in order to find specific words in our literacy revision work!
We experimented with the play-dough and created some words by ourselves!
Speed and teamwork were the focus of our indoor session with Eoin this week. We all worked together and motivated one another to create good teamwork!
We have been busy sorting some materials into different categories. We used items from around our classroom. We learnt lots of new vocabulary in our sorting and categorising lessons.
We used real money to buy marshmallow treats from the pupils in 5th and 6th classes. It was fun going on our 'shopping trip' to Ms. Mc Grath's classroom.
We hope to enjoy our yummy treats!
In session 2, artist Jane gave us the opportunity to work with clay. We designed and created fairy toadstools for our fairy garden. We learnt how to work the clay carefully and to use some instruments for rolling and marking our pieces.. Jane has taken our toadstools away to be fired in the kiln. We will get to paint and varnish them in a few weeks time!
We listened to Josephine telling us the story about Moses and the Exodus from Egypt. We got to taste some of the unleavened bread called matzo. We talked about the story and created some artwork based on it. Finally, we finished off our session revising some of our prayers and enjoying a tasty feast!
We are the Junior and Senior Infant Stars from Crusheen N.S. Co. Clare. We hope you enjoy viewing many of our activities!
