We went to the 'halla' today to continue our 'Maths Week' activities.
We worked really well together and we took turns to play the games.
We all had great fun!
We began Maths Week with another outdoor Maths trail.
This time our focus was to use our 'Maths Eyes' around our local community.
We gathered lots of information on 'Number' and on '2-D and 3-D shapes' from examining the outside of some of the cars parked near the school. .
Maths is all around us!
Younger and older pupils mingled together today as friendship buddies were established. Friendship bookmarks and bracelets were exchanged. We look forward to catching up with our friendship buddies from time to time.
Well done to the young hurling stars of the future for Crusheen!
Lots of medals given out on Wednesday at hurling training!
Keep up the good work!
We have been learning how to be a good friend to one another. We learnt a friendship song and talked about our school buddy bench. We also made some colorful bookmarks which we will hand over to our school buddy this week.
There was great excitement in class when Joey's wobbly tooth suddenly fell out!
Joey is looking forward to a visit from the tooth fairy!
We concluded our Aistear sessions on 'The Supermarket' with a short trip to our own local supermarket. There were got to view all the different areas of the supermarket and we used 'real' money to buy a little treat! Thank you to the staff and management of Clarke's Daybreak, who were very kind in facilitating us!
We had a visit today from Garda Higgins. She came to say hello and we chatted to her about ways in which we can keep ourselves safe. She liked the way we use our high-viz jackets when we are out walking or cycling!
We are the Junior and Senior Infant Stars from Crusheen N.S. Co. Clare. We hope you enjoy viewing many of our activities!
