Our classroom is looking spooky with our colour spiral artwork for Halloween! We painted spooky haunted houses and learned all about the history of Halloween.
Did you know before pumpkins, people used to carve turnips?! & Another name for a carved pumpkin was a Jack O' Lantern! While learning all about 2D and 3D shapes in Maths, we explored the number of faces, edges and vertices of them using matchsticks and mini marshmallows. Check out some of our awesome shapes!
We had a very exciting class election where we elected two class representatives through a secret ballot.
Everyone was invited to put themselves forward as candidates and to deliver a persuasive speech to their class! Congratulations to our two class representatives! They look forward to discussing new ideas with the newly elected student council. |
