In September 2021, Our School was delighted to avail of the use of Sports Hall athletics packs from Clare Sports Partnership

Clare LSP Active Homework Challenge 2022 Launch
In January we launched our 3 week Active Homework Challenge for 2022!
Clare LSP have set out some fun and exciting challenges for the children to try out!

For week 2 we will have videos from Clare based strength and conditioning coach Oscar O’Dwyer and
For week 3 we will have some dance challenges from Sparks Hip Hop Dance School in Ennis.

In November we circulated a flyer from PDST to parents encouraging Active challenges at home.
COMMUNITY
Our pupils are members of the running club Ennis Track AC and represent the club in county, munster and all Ireland competitions
NATIONAL ORGANISATIONS
Crusheen GAA

Our pupils are members of the Crusheen GAA and compete in hurling, football and camogie competitions

The school is delighted to support our local GAA club. We look forward to hearing from the pupils.
Triathletes
Our pupils love to compete in triathlons and duathlons and this one was for charity.
NATIONAL INITIATIVES
National Bike Week
Our school has applied to Safe routes and look forward to receiving the programme to our school. We also have applied for a cycle rack to encourage the continuation of cycling to school and overcoming the difficulty of not having a cycle rack.

Whole School Active playround break
Pupils in 4th and 5th using the equipment from Clare Sports Partnership
Children and Young Peoples Services Committee - Imagination playground
The local playgroup with our school applied to Healthy Ireland and Clare CYPSC for an Imagination Playground. Pupils have fun using their imagination.
