Well done to the pupils in 1st and 2nd classes who participated in the Grow it Forward initiative run in conjunction with Clare Libraries. The pupils had fun watching their plants grow from seed throughout Term 3. Some of our prize winning art entries are featured on the Clare library website over the summer.

We took part an an enjoyable live Zoom Celtic Art class with Heritage in Schools. Here are a few of our art samples based on the first letter of our names.
We enjoyed learning about the artist 'Henri Matisse' and we used the 'Drawing with Scissors' technique to create our own abstract masterpieces!
All set for lots of summer reading with our newly created fun bookmarks!
                      We enjoyed recording our local artefacts.
As historians we used lots of skills in examining our gathered evidence. We learnt a lot about times past.
 Out and about as geographers, examining new areas within our locality - The Fairy Woods and Cluain Fia estate.
 Thank you Ms. Fogarty for visiting our classroom and teaching us over the past two weeks. We wish you all the best in your future teaching studies.
