Pupils in 5th and 6th classes had great fun making imaginative structures with the Bricí Spraoi construction. Pupils had to work together as a team, planning and building their pieces whilst also presenting them to each other. We look forward to their next arrival!!
Pupils from 5th and 6th classes were invited to a hurling and camogie blitz in Gort Community School, Co. Galway on Wednesday 2nd October. The blitz provided students with the opportunity to play with students from other schools in south Galway and north Clare. Thank you to the transition year students for their hard work in organising the blitz which was held from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and thank you to Gort Community School for providing lunch to all the kids, which was greatly appreciated. Pupils were delighted to see stars such as Sarah Dervan (captain of the Galway Camogie team) and Clare's own Peter Duggan on the day also.
Our 4th, 5th and 6th class boys took part in the Cumann na mBunscol football blitz in Corofin on Tuesday October 1st. The boys played really well but unfortunately didn’t qualify for the semi-final.
